ASTRO CAMP

Launch into MDM’s NASA Astro Camp during this February school break! Your 3rd-5th grade students will explore how humans travel into outer space, test their hand at rocket science, and tour the solar system. They’ll immerse themselves in space and rocket science at the Maine Discovery Museum and launch their rockets with the Challenger Learning Center! Through hands-on experiments and activities your future astronauts will expand their knowledge of space travel while having a blast doing it.
This three day camp will bring your child through the process of engineering their very own rocket using specialty 3D-printed components as we partner with the Challenger Learning Center for the final day. Campers will be able to take home the rockets they build.
The schedule is different than our typical, so please take care to read it carefully before signing up.
