Join us for afterschool technology clubs in our STEM Studio! 

Our programs ignite imagination in students, offering hands-on robotics, playful programming, digital storytelling, and real-world AI exploration for students in grades K-12. Whether building with LEGO sets, animating pixel pals, or training robots for the Olympics, we'll inspire curiosity, teamwork, and future-ready problem solving.

Clubs meet on Wednesdays or Thursdays for 3-4 week sessions.

$60 per session (MDM members receive a member discount!)

Coding for the Holidays
December 3 - December 17  

Celebrate the magic of computer science in our Code for the Holidays club for K-2nd graders! Students will explore the wonder of coding through festive, playful activities that spark imagination and teamwork. This jolly club invites young kids to discover the basics of coding and technology in a cozy holiday setting, building confidence and creativity with every merry moment.

This club meets Wednesdays 3:30PM - 4:45PM December 3 - December 17 

Wonder Bots  
May 6 - May 27  

Dive into a world of imagination and computer science as your student embarks on a coding journey alongside Dash, Dot, and Cue — the robots from Wonder Workshop! Each session in this adventure-filled club will have K-2nd grade explorers cracking codes, mastering mazes, and unleashing creativity by programming these playful bots on adventures! Guided by interactive missions, young learners will uncover the magic of code sequences, loops, and events all while solving challenges and building problem-solving skills in a fun, hands-on environment. Get ready for excitement, teamwork, and endless discoveries for your future coders.  

This club meets at 3:30-4:45pm on Wednesdays

Coding for the Holidays
December 4 - December 18

LEGO Robotics  
February 25- March 18  

Join us for the LEGO Robotics Club and spark curiosity, creativity, and innovation through hands-on robotics! Designed for students in grades 3–5, this club uses the LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Essential Set to combine engineering, coding, and design. This is an exciting, team-based environment where students will learn how to build and program interactive sets.

This club meets on Wednesdays 3:30PM - 4:45PM

Wonder Bots  
May 7 - May 28  

Step into the ultimate robotics arena and become a coding champion! The wonder bots have just been chosen for the Robot Olympics, and they need the creativity and brainpower of 3rd–5th grade students to win gold. In this club, students collaborate with Dash, Dot, and Cue — Wonder Workshop's robot crew — to conquer challenges, from dazzling dance battles and wild soccer shootouts to navigating obstacle courses. Participants will train the robots in sequences, loops, events, conditionals, functions, and variables. Prepare to cheer, coach our robots, and code your way to robotic victory as your students learn the exciting world of code. 

This club meets  on Thursdays at 3:30-4:45pm

Digital Storytelling 
January 14 - February 4  

Jump into the exciting world of digital storytelling in this club designed for grades 6-8! Students will focus on two forms of digital media by exploring the computer science and technology required to create some of our favorite stories. We’ll delve into the fundamentals of coding for animation, as well as the art of stop motion animation. This club blends creativity with technology to show students the excitement and possibilities of digital storytelling.

Join us for a FUN and engaging club where 6-8th grade students will dive into the basics of coding with script-based programming. Through hands-on projects and creative challenges, students will learn how to write simple code, and develop problem-solving skills that spark curiosity and confidence.

Coding Tomorrow    
April 1- April 15  

Step into the future of technology! This club introduces high school students to the world of generative AI while exploring the ethics and responsibilities that come with it. Through fun, safe, and hands-on activities, students will experiment with AI tools to see how they can assist with coding while also understanding their limits. Along the way, students will build a strong foundation in coding fundamentals, sharpen their problem‑solving skills, and discover how creativity and critical thinking play a key role in AI.

This club meets on Wednesdays 3:30PM - 4:45PM
