The Cultivation Coordinator (Operations) is a full-time, hands-on position responsible for supporting staff and the daily
operations of Maine Discovery Museum. This role requires someone who is highly reliable, organized,
hardworking, and calm under pressure, with the ability to manage people, prioritize needs, and solve problems.
Working Thursday–Sunday, the Coordinator works directly alongside the team—cleaning, supporting visitors,
maintaining museum spaces, and completing daily operations—while also providing direction, coordinating
responsibilities, and ensuring important work gets done. During many shifts, the Coordinator serves as the primary
operational leader onsite and must be comfortable working independently, using sound judgment, and confidently
responding to unexpected situations.
