The Maine Discovery Museum (MDM) seeks a highly organized and enthusiastic Science Teacher Academy (STA) Coordinator to support our year-long professional development program for elementary school teachers. Reporting to the Director of Community Engagement, the Coordinator plays a pivotal role in advancing MDM’s mission by ensuring
that teachers receive engaging, effective, and well-coordinated learning experiences.
This position works closely with museum staff, teachers, school leaders, informal science educators, and community partners. Success in this role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and a passion for supporting high-quality science education.
