Maine Invention Convention
Where Maine’s young innovators and entrepreneurs get their start
The Maine Invention Convention (MIC) is a FREE program that empowers students in grades K-12 to think creatively, design with purpose, and develop solutions to real-world challenges.
This curriculum is designed to fit a classroom curriculum, after-school program, or at home with your K-12 student. Each lesson plan aligns with Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and Common Core to ensure meaningful learning. Through hands-on activities, students learn to design with purpose and develop real-world solutions. Maine’s young inventors don’t just participate—they excel!
The Maine Discovery Museum is the proud state affiliate for Invention Convention Worldwide
