Science is everywhere in Maine. From forests to fisheries, agriculture to aquaculture, bioscience, composites, aerospace, health and life sciences, genetics, animal health, climate change research - there is an abundance of national and world leading science, engineering, technology, and innovation happening in Maine. And it's time for us to formally recognize the people and organizations who do this work.

Join us on October 15th in Bangor for the inaugural Maine Science Awards, an evening of recognition honoring the scientists, innovators, researchers, and advocates who are making Maine a better, smarter, and more curious place. Presented by Hollywood Casino, the Maine Science Awards will celebrate the ways science has been advanced in Maine.

This is the first of what we know will become an annual tradition. A night that brings together Maine's scientific community and the people who champion it, to shine a spotlight on excellence and send everyone home a little more inspired.
