Did you know April 22, 2020 marks the 50th anniversary of Earth Day? Since 1970 Earth Day has helped increase awareness of this very special little blue planet we live on and encouraged people to learn more about the challenges and environmental issues it faces and how everyone can work together to protect and help our home in space, Earth.
While we can’t be together at Maine Discovery Museum to celebrate Earth Day, we created some special activities and explorations you can do at home, in your backyard, and on our beautiful trails and outdoor spaces.
There are also some links below to some of the best STEM resources around from our friends at the NISE Network!
We miss you all!
